Global warming is projected to rocket past the 1.5 °C limit, throwing lifelong activist Andrew Boyd into a crisis of hope, and off on a quest to learn how to live with the “impossible news” of climate breakdown. This flowchart, which combines an audio narration with interactive elements, is an invitation to join Andrew on his narrative path and explore our predicament on your own.

The expansive chart maps out the many facets of our climate predicament as well as Andrew’s journey of trying to navigate them.
The flowchart interface combines and facilitates both narrative and explorative experiences.
Users can listen to an audio narration, explore by themselves or alternate between these two modes.
